Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Financial Services Litigation Group. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in consumer financial services and products cases, from inception to resolution. Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation, including cases related to consumer financial services.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct discovery, including depositions and interrogatories.
• Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve favorable results.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Experience in consumer finance-related litigation is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in case management and legal research software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
