Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dallas is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with strong academic credentials and hands-on experience in various labor and employment matters. The candidate should be admitted and in good standing with the Texas Bar, with at least 3 years of experience in counseling and litigation.

Duties:

• Work directly with clients on labor and employment matters including severance agreements, handbook drafting, internal investigations, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment disputes.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Participate in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
• Assist with litigation preparation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Stay updated on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Admitted and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in labor and employment matters.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Hands-on experience working directly with clients on labor and employment issues.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Texas Bar.
