Job Overview:
A law firm is currently seeking a skilled and motivated eDiscovery Attorney to join its team. This role requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), with an eagerness to gain further experience in this field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in high-pressure environments. The position is not on the partnership track, and candidates must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where they are practicing.

Location:

  • Atlanta, GA

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery work on complex litigation matters.
  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to ensure deadlines, budgets, and standards are met.
  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
  • Act as the point of contact for the case team (including partners) and clients regarding eDiscovery project implementation and status.
  • Coordinate the identification and collection of client data with case teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Prepare accurate budgets/estimates for review projects, including monthly revenue forecasting and invoice review.
  • Create and manage document review workflows, including quality control processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of document productions.
  • Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to sustain and improve work product and performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and encourage collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery, including work in law firms, in-house, or government.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
