Junior Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking Junior Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidates will work on insurance defense and/or medical malpractice cases, providing support in various litigation and legal processes. These roles require a combination of legal research, document drafting, client interaction, and courtroom involvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis to assist senior attorneys and partners.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and reports.
• Participate in client meetings and case discussions to provide legal insight and strategy.
• Attend court conferences, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Review and analyze medical records, and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Support attorneys in litigation preparation, including organizing evidence and trial materials.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop and execute case strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience with insurance defense and/or medical malpractice is preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research, draft documents, and assist in case preparation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in client interaction and courtroom settings is beneficial.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
