Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm based in Richardson, TX, is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its legal team. This role involves representing clients in immigration cases, overseeing legal filings, and managing client communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong advocacy skills.

Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including court appearances.
• Oversee and assist in the preparation of legal filings and documentation.
• Communicate extensively with clients, providing legal guidance and updates.
• Manage case deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed on evolving immigration laws.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the firm’s leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required).
• Must possess a valid license to practice law in Texas or be authorized to practice immigration law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Skilled in negotiation, advocacy, and legal argumentation.
• Prior courtroom experience is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership with no prior disciplinary actions.
