A law firm seeks a motivated Capital Markets Associate with 2–5 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets to join its Boston, MA office. The role focuses on providing legal guidance on capital-raising transactions to innovative clients in the technology and life sciences sectors, along with leading investment banks and institutional investors. This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven attorney passionate about collaborating on complex securities offerings in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Duties

  • Advise clients on public securities offerings, including equity and debt transactions.
  • Collaborate with technology and life sciences companies through IPOs, operations as public companies, and beyond.
  • Work closely with investment banks, venture capital funds, and institutional investors.
  • Provide strategic, high-quality legal counsel with a strong focus on client service excellence.
  • Contribute to team success with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience with securities offerings, gained at a reputable law firm.
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a client-first mindset.
  • Academic Credentials: Strong academic performance with a record of achievement.
  • Bar Membership: Active membership in the MA Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to and in good standing with the bar in the practicing state.
