A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney in New York City, NY.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney will handle all aspects of US antitrust laws, including complex mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, unilateral conduct, cartel investigations, private litigations, and counseling.

Duties:

  • Manage antitrust matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investigations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in antitrust litigation and proceedings.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on antitrust compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex antitrust matters.
  • Stay updated on developments in antitrust law and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of robust experience focused on all aspects of US antitrust laws.
  • Meaningful antitrust experience with a major law firm and/or agency background.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission and good standing to the New York Bar.
  • Previous experience in antitrust law.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of US antitrust laws and regulations.
  • Legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and software.
