Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in New Orleans, LA. This role involves representing clients in legal disputes, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and managing all aspects of litigation. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, opinions, and memoranda.

• Provide assessments on liability, damages, and case value.

• Draft and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Conduct depositions, participate in mediations, and attend inspections.

• Represent clients in trials and dispositive hearings.

• Maintain organized and detailed case files.

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of litigation experience in insurance defense, personal injury, or a related field.

• Admission to the Louisiana Bar and in good standing.

• Strong legal writing and research skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.

• Willingness to travel for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Louisiana Bar membership.
