Job Overview:
A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join its Tampa office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of corporate law experience and be eager to take on significant responsibility within a dynamic legal team serving clients across various industries, including technology.

Location:

  • Tampa, FL

Duties:

  • Advise corporate clients on a broad range of transactional and general corporate matters

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business transactions

  • Conduct due diligence and manage transactional workflow from start to finish

  • Interface with clients across industries, including startups and established corporations

  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across firm offices and practice groups

  • Maintain awareness of legal developments relevant to corporate practice

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate transactions and general business law

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent client service

  • Willingness to assume significant responsibility early in matters

  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of The Florida Bar, or eligible for admission and willing to sit for the next available Florida Bar exam

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Transactional experience, particularly with technology clients, preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and practice areas
