Job Title: Real Estate Attorney - Investment Funds Group

Job Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Attorney with a background in investment funds to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. The role also requires a deep understanding of real estate transactions, with an emphasis on investment funds, and familiarity with securities offerings being a plus. This position offers flexibility in terms of structure, with both full-time and part-time options available.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Assist with structuring and negotiating complex investment fund transactions.
  • Draft and review agreements related to real estate investment and fund structures.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure all legal matters are addressed.
  • Manage multiple legal projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support casework and client needs.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in both client interactions and internal communications.
  • Work autonomously as well as within a collaborative environment to deliver excellent legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of substantive experience in real estate law, specifically related to acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and external parties professionally.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
