Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored advice.
• Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Stay informed on legal developments relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Foster a collaborative working environment by working closely with other attorneys and staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in litigation, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice law.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with various areas of law (family law, workers' compensation, estate planning, etc.).
• Excellent research skills with experience using platforms like Lexis-Nexis.
• Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
