Duties

  • Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including:
    • Divorce proceedings.
    • Custody modifications and parenting plan agreements.
    • Property division disputes.
    • Temporary orders and restraining orders.
  • Represent clients in courtroom hearings, trials, mediations, and pretrial proceedings.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to create practical and innovative agreements outside the courtroom when possible.
  • Provide compassionate, goal-oriented guidance to clients during emotionally difficult situations.
  • Stay informed on updates to the Texas Family Code (TFC) and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing contested family law cases.
  • Proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, pleadings, motions, mediations, and trials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to providing empathetic and professional client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active and valid Texas Bar License.
