Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients seeking Social Security Disability benefits
  • Analyze claims to determine eligibility under Social Security guidelines
  • Review and summarize medical records to support claims
  • Prepare clients for hearings and represent them during hearings
  • Draft and file appeals when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure seamless case management
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Social Security Disability law
  • Experience in preparing and presenting cases at hearings (appeal experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze legal and medical documents
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Valid Bar license to practice law in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain)
