Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and handle complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft and prepare dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Argue motions in court and handle depositions, both taking and defending.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Develop and maintain case files, including discovery documents and evidence preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and execute legal tactics.
• Participate in client meetings and provide legal advice and recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and legal trends.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of litigation experience with substantial courtroom experience.
• Experience in drafting complex dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.
• Proficient in arguing motions and handling depositions.
• Excellent academic credentials, including strong writing and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Member in Good Standing of the Georgia Bar or admitted to and in Good Standing with another state's Bar (and willing to undergo the Georgia Bar’s admission process).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia or willing to become licensed by the Georgia Bar.
