A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Protection Attorney to manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial. The role entails attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, preparing pleadings and other litigation documents, conducting research, and fostering client relationships.

Duties:

  • Manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct research and writing tasks
  • Provide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and activities
  • Develop clients through relationship-building methods
  • Travel to various courthouses and locations as necessary

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in personal injury protection law
  • Good standing member of the Florida Bar
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, and Westlaw
  • Experience evaluating files for litigation
  • Professional communication abilities in person, via telephone, and written correspondence/email

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, and Westlaw
  • Ability to evaluate files for litigation
