Admission to practice in California is mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in bankruptcy cases, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
• Handle complex restructuring matters, both in-court and out-of-court.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on bankruptcy and restructuring issues.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Negotiate and draft restructuring plans and related agreements.
• Advise clients on the implications of bankruptcy and restructuring strategies.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff as needed.
• Stay current on relevant bankruptcy and restructuring laws, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring law.
• Proven experience with both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
• Admission to practice law in California.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high caseload and work under tight deadlines.

Education
