Duties

• Conduct legal research using resources like Lexis-Nexis.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Assist with trial preparation, post-trial motions, and appeals.
• Provide litigation support to partners and associates.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Advise clients on legal issues and strategies.
• Develop and litigate cases independently.
• Maintain professional communication with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the state of Arizona.

Experience

• Experience in general liability defense or workers’ compensation subrogation is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Familiarity with case management software is an advantage.
