Plaintiff Litigation Attorney

Los Angeles office of our client seeks a plaintiff litigation attorney with some previous relevant experience, ideally in lemon law, product liability, or consumer law. The candidate will primarily be dealing with the major car manufacturers and be litigating lemon law claims. Will be responsible for discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearances, vehicle inspections, creative litigation approaches, and potentially trials and trial preparation. Responsibilities also include: drafting motions, court appearances, vehicle inspections, negotiating settlements, drafting and responding to discovery, assessing case value and strategy, and maximizing client recovery. Active membership in the CA State Bar, in good standing, is required.

The candidate should have strong advocacy skills and a competitive spirit. The ability to handle an aggressive caseload is required. Thorough and detailed organization skills are needed. The ability to build rapport with clients and defense counsel is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Should preferably have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
