Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare pleadings, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions.
  • Collaborate with a team to manage cases and prepare for trials and arbitrations.
  • Provide legal advice to clients involved in construction-related lawsuits.
  • Represent clients in court and during arbitration proceedings.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal documents and construction contracts.
  • Develop case strategies and arguments to represent clients effectively.
  • Maintain and organize case files and documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Stay current on legal developments related to construction law and litigation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Colorado or able to obtain admission through waiver.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably focusing on construction-related cases.
  • Prior experience in construction management, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
