A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Philadelphia office. The Associate Attorney will join a dynamic team, providing legal expertise in litigation matters with a focus on casualty liability. The role requires exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, along with a strong academic background. Regular meetings and training sessions are provided to enhance practical legal and business skills. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) eligible seminars are also available for targeted areas of law or professional development. A judicial clerkship experience is advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation matters, particularly in casualty liability cases.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and development.
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions for professional development.
  • Participate in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) eligible seminars on targeted areas of law.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • 4-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in casualty liability matters.
  • Top-notch academic background.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
