Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its Seattle, WA office. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff cases and wage & hour class action litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work with premier local and national employers on a wide range of sophisticated legal matters.

Location:

  • Seattle, WA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including single-plaintiff cases and wage & hour class actions

  • Provide legal counsel to employers on various labor and employment law matters

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and court appearances

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Manage client relationships and provide direct client interaction

  • Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues and litigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment litigation, including wage & hour and single-plaintiff cases

  • Strong understanding of labor and employment law

  • Experience handling complex legal matters and managing litigation cases independently

  • Ability to interact directly with clients and manage relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Washington (or ability to gain admission upon hire)

Skills:

  • Strong litigation experience, particularly in labor & employment law

  • Experience in handling wage & hour class actions

  • Excellent communication and client management skills

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
