The Intake Attorney will be responsible for the initial evaluation of potential clients, assessing their cases, and guiding them through the intake process. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting initial consultations, evaluating case merits, and providing clear guidance on legal options.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to gather detailed information about their employment-related issues.
  • Evaluate the merits of each case based on the information provided and determine if it aligns with the firm's criteria for representation.
  • Provide potential clients with clear and concise information about their legal options and the services the firm offers.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys to discuss potential cases and make recommendations.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions and case evaluations.
  • Assist with managing the intake process to ensure a smooth transition for clients into the firm's representation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law to effectively assess potential cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Ability to work PST hours.
  • Previous experience in conducting client consultations and case evaluations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Certifications:
