Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Taxation is required.
  • Admission to the state Bar and license to practice law in New York.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience focused on tax controversy matters, including audits, appeals, and tax litigation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax disputes and delivering favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and effectively convey legal concepts to non-legal professionals.
