Associate Attorney Litigation

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their litigation team in Peachtree Corners, GA. Duties

• Participate in pre-lawsuit investigations, analyzing cases and developing strategies.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, motions, and other court documents.
• Take and defend depositions, contributing to case preparation for trial.
• Assist with arbitration, mediations, and trials, offering legal counsel and strategy.
• Provide advice and counsel to clients on various legal matters.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and client representation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to ensure case strategies align with client goals.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all legal work.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of litigation experience (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia, or awaiting Georgia Bar Exam results.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated and eager to grow professionally in a legal career.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar or pending exam results.
