Senior Intellectual Property Trademark Associate Attorney

A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Trademark Associate Attorney with substantial experience in all facets of trademark law, including prosecution, strategy, enforcement, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel on trademark matters and handle complex legal issues related to intellectual property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trademark counseling, including clearance searches, analysis, prosecution, and maintenance of trademarks.
• Develop and implement trademark enforcement strategies, including handling disputes, internet and e-commerce issues, and online investigations.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate agreements and contractual provisions pertaining to intellectual property and trademark matters.
• Manage intellectual property due diligence processes for transactions and litigation discovery related to trademark disputes.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), if required.
• Provide strategic advice on trademark portfolio management and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience specializing in trademark law, with a strong emphasis on prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management.
• Proven track record in structuring and negotiating IP agreements.
• Experience in managing IP due diligence and handling litigation discovery in trademark disputes.
• Deep understanding of trademark laws and regulations, both domestic and international.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to advocate on behalf of clients.
• Exceptional technical proficiency in trademark law and related intellectual property matters.
