Job Overview:
A law firm specializing in family law is seeking two experienced Family Law Attorneys to join their team. Location: 

South Jordan, UT 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and other family-related matters.
  • Handle cases from start to finish, including consultations, drafting legal documents, and preparing for court hearings.
  • Provide counsel and legal strategies to clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed with empathy and professionalism.
  • Attend and represent clients in court hearings and mediations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent client service and results.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely legal filings and deadlines.
  • Participate in team huddles and client meetings, offering support and guidance.
  • Help mentor and support junior attorneys and staff members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience practicing family law in the state of Utah, including experience with Commissioners.
  • Licensed to practice law in Utah and in good standing.
  • Strong courtroom experience and the ability to handle contested family law cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to relate to clients facing difficult family matters.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and commitment to client service.
  • Ability to relocate to South Jordan, UT.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Utah Bar License required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven ability to handle complex family law matters.
  • Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to empathize and provide clear legal guidance.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Experience in litigation and negotiation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
