  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Provide advice and representation on the National Labor Relations Act matters.
  • Manage NLRB administrative and enforcement proceedings, grievances, and labor arbitration.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, briefs, and opinion letters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and employment law developments and advise clients accordingly.
  • Participate in client development activities and build strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Proven experience counseling clients on a variety of employment issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent clients in single-plaintiff and class/collective action employment litigation.
  • Some traditional labor experience with issues under the National Labor Relations Act.
  • Experience handling NLRB administrative and enforcement proceedings, grievances, and labor arbitration.
  • Strong writing and research skills.
  • Superior academic record.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Washington, DC Bar.
