Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Greenville, South Carolina office. This role is perfect for attorneys with a minimum of two years of litigation experience who are licensed to practice in South Carolina. Duties

• Manage a variety of litigation cases from initiation to resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Develop litigation strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to ensure case success.
• Provide clients with clear, timely updates and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Work within a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the firm’s collective success.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• License: Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
• Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures, including discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
• Case Management: Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization.
• Client Focused: Proven experience in managing client relationships and providing outstanding legal counsel.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar Association.
