A prominent law firm is seeking a talented and driven mid-level associate attorney to join its Insurance Recovery group in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a legal professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of insurance recovery. The position involves representing policyholders in a broad range of insurance recovery matters, including policy analysis, advising clients on claim presentation, and resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and litigation both domestically and internationally.

Duties:

• Represent clients in the insurance recovery process, focusing on policyholder interests.

• Analyze insurance policies and related claims or losses.

• Advise clients on best practices for presenting claims and managing losses.

• Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation when necessary.

• Litigate disputes in both domestic and international lawsuits and arbitrations.

• Provide strategic counsel on insurance recovery matters, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery or a related litigation field.

• Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims processes.

• Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and litigation.

• Experience in negotiating, mediating, and litigating insurance recovery matters.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or eligible for admission).

Skills:
