Duties:

• Manage and execute patent prosecution tasks, including preparing and filing patent applications.
• Advise clients on patent portfolio strategy and litigation matters.
• Draft and review responses to office actions and other correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to patent litigation, including pleadings and motions.
• Work closely with patent examiners and clients to secure intellectual property rights.
• Stay updated with changes in patent law and related technology trends.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in intellectual property law, specifically in patent prosecution.
• Strong technical background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience in patent drafting and prosecution, with exposure to litigation.
• Experience in the networking, software, or telecommunications sectors (3G/4G/5G technology) is a plus.
• Admission to the USPTO is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.

Education:

• A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field is essential.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.

Skills:
