A prominent law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mid- or Senior-level Structured Finance Attorney to join its structured finance team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in representing financial institutions in asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions. Candidates with general capital markets, private credit, or leveraged finance experience and an interest in securitization are also encouraged to apply. This is a high-value, market-leading practice focusing on areas such as Repo finance, digital infrastructure, trade receivable finance, warehouse lending, and structured private credit facilities.

Duties:

  • Represent financial institutions, including issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers, in structured finance and securitization transactions.
  • Handle complex asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.
  • Work on structured private credit facilities, repo finance, digital infrastructure, trade receivable finance, and warehouse lending.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage high-value finance deals from inception to closing.
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents for securitization and structured finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to structured finance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, private credit, or leveraged finance.
  • Experience representing financial institutions in asset-backed securitization or structured lending.
  • Strong understanding of structured finance transactions and legal issues surrounding them.
  • Experience in a large law firm environment is preferred.
  • Ability to handle complex transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in Texas.

Skills:

  • Expertise in structured finance, securitization, and private credit transactions.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
