Job Overview: A law firm in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a highly skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage and lead pre-suit negotiation processes, primarily in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in case management, negotiation, and team leadership within a legal environment.

Job Duties:

  • Work up Pre-Litigation files from signup through pre-suit negotiations.
  • Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff, and other lawyers over the phone and in person.
  • Attend pursuit vehicle inspections and file Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) when necessary.
  • Lead a pre-litigation team of 2-3 individuals effectively.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with keen attention to detail.
  • Utilize complex data reports (Power BI) to inform legal strategies.
  • Collaborate cohesively within a team environment.
  • Supervise and manage other team members effectively.
  • Demonstrate motivation driven by performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Pre-Litigation Attorney.
  • Proven track record in pre-litigation case management and negotiation.
  • Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
  • Desire or willingness to work on litigation files is a plus.
  • 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
  • Prior experience managing multiple pre-litigation teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Experience with commercial cases is advantageous.
  • Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Current member of the Texas Bar in good standing.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Texas Bar Association.
