A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditor's Rights Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing both debtors and creditors, coupled with a background in commercial litigation or commercial finance. This role demands excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills, along with strong attention to detail, superior organization, and effective communication abilities. The candidate must possess superior academic credentials and be admitted to the Bar.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditor's rights matters, including both debtor and creditor representation.
  • Handle complex commercial litigation and commercial finance cases as needed.
  • Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Manage multiple projects and cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a large or mid-size law firm.
  • Proven experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditor's rights law.
  • Commercial litigation and/or commercial finance experience is highly desirable.
  • Admission to the Bar is mandatory.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Superior academic credentials.

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
