Job Overview:
A fast-growing personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Attorney to join its pre-litigation and litigation team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with 0-2 years of experience to gain valuable exposure to high-value, high-volume cases, develop case strategies, and fast-track career growth. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with most work being remote, and provides opportunities for hands-on experience, professional development, and a path to litigation and trial work.

Location:

  • Costa Mesa, CA 

Duties:

  • Manage a heavy caseload of personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation and litigation.
  • Oversee and strategize negotiations with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers to maximize client settlements.
  • Analyze case value based on medical expenses, injuries, liability, and policy limits.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and opposing parties.
  • Supervise and collaborate with case managers and legal assistants to ensure smooth case progress.
  • Uphold the firm’s client-first philosophy, ensuring diligence, integrity, compassion, and excellence in all aspects of the case.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in California or awaiting bar results.
  • Some understanding of personal injury law and case strategy or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a fast-paced, high-volume caseload.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar Certification in the State of California (or awaiting results).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of personal injury law (or willingness to learn).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail.
  • Ability to handle high-volume caseloads effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
