A law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly skilled Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The role requires a strong academic background, exceptional research and writing abilities, and 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation on insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex insurance and reinsurance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, coverage agreements, and related legal documents.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Develop and implement strategic legal solutions to address and resolve insurance coverage disputes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage and resolve insurance claims.
• Stay updated on relevant industry developments, regulatory changes, and case law affecting insurance and reinsurance.
• Prepare and present persuasive legal arguments, motions, and briefs in court and other legal proceedings.
• Efficiently manage multiple insurance coverage matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in California.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Proven ability to perform thorough legal research and produce high-quality written work.
• Experience handling insurance coverage disputes and related litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in California.
