Job Overview: A respected law firm in Summerville, South Carolina, is seeking a Real Estate Closing Attorney to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the closing process, building client relationships, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience for clients. Location:

Duties:

• Oversee residential and commercial real estate closings, including sales and refinances
• Review property titles and address any issues
• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions
• Draft and review loan documents, contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements
• Provide a professional and responsive experience for clients, addressing their questions and concerns
• Review disbursement ledgers and authorize payments
• Build and maintain business relationships to support the firm’s growth
• Conduct educational sessions for clients on relevant areas of real estate law

Requirements:

• Experience in residential real estate transactions preferred (training available for suitable candidates)
• Active member of the South Carolina State Bar, in good standing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Community-oriented with a self-starter mentality
• Growth-focused with an emphasis on residential real estate

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
