Job Overview A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Secured Transaction Attorney to join its expanding team. This remote role is based in Queens/Long Island, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of cases for clients such as banks, finance companies, and fleet companies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and litigation skills, managing cases efficiently and effectively.

Duties
Manage high-volume case loads involving secured transactions.
Resolve impound lien disputes with repair shops, tow yards, and government agencies.
Negotiate property damage claims with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel.
Engage in arbitration or litigation when necessary.
Analyze case details and explore resolution options.
Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and other relevant parties.
Document all case activity using appropriate case management software.
Ensure compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law in New York.
Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
Experience in secured transactions preferred but not required.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Familiarity with case management software.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active New York State Bar License.
Skills
