Duties

  • Oversee a caseload of consular processing and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-Visa applications
  • Prepare clients for consulate interviews and represent them before USCIS
  • Review immigration applications and packets, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Lead and manage a team of paralegals to meet productivity targets and client expectations
  • Conduct thorough legal analysis to assess potential case benefits for clients
  • Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in immigration law, particularly in consular processing and waivers
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads effectively and move cases forward
  • Familiarity with case management software preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills, with a willingness to assist and strategize with team members

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed Attorney in good standing (California Bar Admission preferred)
