Insurance Coverage Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its insurance coverage practice. Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials in declaratory judgment cases.
• Oversee all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters.
• Proficiency in drafting coverage opinions and handling litigation disputes.
• Specific knowledge of New York labor law claims, construction litigation, and insurance issues under commercial general liability policies.
• Strong verbal communication, research, and analytical abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the state of New York is in good standing.
• Admission to New York federal courts with familiarity with federal court procedures.

• Proven expertise in insurance coverage law and related litigation.
• Strong writing, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
