Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, specializing in Workers' Compensation defense, seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with strong writing skills, experience in medical records review, and the ability to work independently, preferably in a virtual setting.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct detailed review and analysis of medical records, deposition transcripts, and other relevant documents.
• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct legal research on complex issues related to Workers' Compensation law.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing.
• Preferably 1+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience or familiarity with virtual work environments is preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
