A law firm in West Hollywood, CA, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will expertly handle family law matters from initial filings through court representation, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy for clients.

Duties:

  • Craft and prepare important court filings and supporting documents, including family law pleadings, initial filings, Requests for Orders, ex parte paperwork, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other pertinent information.
  • Follow up diligently on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Represent clients and their interests vigorously in court.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, and property division.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all legal tasks.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure cohesive case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active CA State Bar License.
  • Certified Family Law Specialist (preferred).
  • Proven track record as a Family Law Attorney.
  • Strong understanding of California family law and court procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
