Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly motivated attorney to join its dynamic finance team. The role involves advising on private credit, acquisition finance, and leveraged finance transactions, with a particular focus on borrower-side representation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on complex financial transactions for private equity clients.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on borrower-side private credit transactions.
• Support acquisition and leveraged finance matters, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with clients on sponsor-side private equity acquisition financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, loan documents, and related contracts.
• Advise clients on structuring and managing complex financial arrangements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to address unique client needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in borrower-side private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Familiarity with sponsor-side private equity acquisition financings is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in a team-oriented setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:
