Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, draft, review, and revise various contracts and agreements.
  • Negotiate, draft, review, and revise motions and settlements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Complete due diligence related to real estate transactions, including closings.
  • Assess risk and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Research current and emerging legal issues in the Transactional, Corporate, and Real Estate Practice areas.
  • Offer legal advice on matters regarding fiscal responsibilities and transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on general compliance matters.
  • Resolve issues that arise from projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing as an associate attorney in Transactional, Corporate, or Real Estate law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
