Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an associate attorney to join its Structured Finance practice in New York, NY. This position involves representing issuers and sponsors in residential mortgage and consumer receivable financings, with a focus on RMBS, ABS, master repurchase facilities, and warehouse facilities.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in residential mortgage and consumer receivable financings.
  • Advise on RMBS, ABS, and other structured finance products, including master repurchase and warehouse facilities.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys on the team to develop and implement legal strategies for complex finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to structured finance.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Admission to the New York or the ability to waive into jurisdiction.
  • Previous experience with structured finance in a law firm environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to waive in).

Skills:

  • Expertise in structured finance, particularly RMBS, ABS, and related products.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
