Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal team. The ideal candidate will manage personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring clients receive the best possible representation. Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather necessary case information.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a team that includes legal assistants, case managers, and litigation paralegals.
  • Investigate potential personal injury claims and offer legal advice to prospective clients.
  • Collect and review insurance policies, medical expenses, records, and other case-related evidence.
  • Conduct legal research on case law and premises liability.
  • Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial law, including wrongful death, medical malpractice, or civil litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling at least 5 trials.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, and wrongful death.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with legal software.
  • Membership in the State Bar of Georgia and a valid license to practice law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Certifications:

  • Active and good-standing membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
