Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Las Vegas, NV office. The candidate will be involved in all facets of litigation, offering substantial opportunities for professional growth and development. Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct factual and legal research to support litigation cases.
• Prepare memoranda and strategize case approaches.
• Summarize voluminous information and draft legal documents, including written discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Assist with, attend, and/or conduct witness interviews, depositions, client meetings, court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Provide support for court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Participate in various firm and client relations/business development events.
• Maintain thorough and organized case files.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Nevada Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with technology necessary for efficient in-office and remote work when necessary.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
