Location:

Duties:

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
  • Review title documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
  • Provide clients with a professional and engaging experience, addressing any concerns or questions
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks
  • Develop and grow business relationships to enhance the firm's client base
  • Conduct client training on relevant areas of real estate law

Requirements:

  • Residential real estate experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
  • Member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with others
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to engage in community involvement
  • Growth-minded, with a focus on residential real estate
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in academics and work history

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar

Certifications:

  • South Carolina State Bar Membership (in good standing)

  • Excellent drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents
