Intake Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a highly motivated Intake Attorney to serve as the first point of attorney contact for potential clients. This role requires a client-focused professional with strong communication skills and sales acumen. The Intake Attorney will work closely with a team of Intake Representatives to assess prospective cases across multiple practice areas, including criminal, family, civil, immigration, employment, and personal injury law.

Duties:

• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess case viability.
• Collaborate with firm managers and leadership through various communication methods, including email, reports, and presentations.
• Ensure timely and thorough follow-up on all client leads.
• Work closely with Intake Representatives to efficiently gather and analyze case-related information.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: criminal, family, or immigration law (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills to engage with potential clients effectively.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of consultations in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Client-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with intake and legal teams.
