A prominent law firm located in Wilmington, DE is actively looking for a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to assist with various litigation and employment law matters. The role involves a high level of responsibility in handling commercial and employment litigation cases, as well as providing employment counseling. Candidates should expect to work on cases related to breach of contract, fiduciary duty, discrimination, wage and hour issues, and restrictive covenants.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee commercial and employment litigation matters from start to finish
• Provide counsel on employment law issues such as employment agreements and workplace policies
• Draft and review employment contracts and employee handbooks
• Represent clients in court, hearings, and depositions
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Advise clients on workplace disputes and compliance with labor laws
• Collaborate with team members and senior attorneys on complex legal matters

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in employment law or commercial litigation
• Must hold an active license to practice law in Delaware
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work independently
• Proficient in case management and legal document preparation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Delaware State Bar
