Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Wage and Hour Litigation Partner to join their team in Malibu, CA. The successful candidate will take on a select portfolio of high-value cases involving wage and hour issues. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex litigation matters while working in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and prosecute a portfolio of high-value wage and hour litigation cases.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for cases from inception through trial.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court, including motions, hearings, and trials.
  • Oversee discovery, depositions, and expert witness preparations.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide effective representation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, providing high-quality legal counsel and updates throughout the litigation process.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and staff, providing guidance and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experience in wage and hour litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling complex wage and hour cases, including class action litigation.
  • Experience with managing a team and leading high-stakes litigation matters.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle settlement discussions.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • California Bar Admission (Required).
